2.
happy as a clam within shadows of the currant patch summer sun on glowing skin yellow jackets circling trash ever since the railway gates came down to pass and further distant trains the girls could tell that coming sound was calling for inevitable change from afar a faucet splashed pulling you back into it
3.
here they come in droves they will take pictures of the flowers leaning down on the rails enjoy and wait and all is when will i have mine? floating through say summer silver sunshine on the surf slipping out of my sandals even now i wait for when will i have mine? pink turtle on purple grass and cherries in the trees i will wait forever only every now and then when will i have mine?

Banana Moon 01:29
we're sitting pretty on a bench outside the night is warm yeah under a banana moon plants look good in electric light another bottle of white underneath a banana moon banana moon up in the rafters banana ballon banana moon shaped like a melon bananana moon the thing of ours is not to reason why while the world is quiet underneath a banana moon mars and venus make up and cry right up there in the sky underneath a banana moon
5.
we burned out and faded away to that mountain dew sound now you can hear me sing original songs about the moon and the stars and the sun came down on solid squares for no one but you to see i tried to pull it out of the air it wasn't there it never appeared
6.
Naked Man 02:28
naked man snacks at midnight maybe there never was a promise to be fulfilled the half-empty glass has been spilled over and under, above some you see and some you won't there is something going on the languidness left with the sun naked man swoons alone over softly strummed doo-wop tunes playing on the radio the harmonies falling so low left and right, in between the moon, the palm trees the calming sea and underneath the joy, the sorrow, the grief flowing falling floating
7.
a cocktail napkin line "don't be crabby, it's cocktail time" are we better off in the garden of a madhouse? cracks in the armor attracted to laughs are your obsessions adjacent to mine? lazy jazz and jealous greens and frugal days to end to mend your soul cherry
8.
the fury and the sound mix up accordingly does it shadow you around what you neither hear nor see? sadness drips like rain upon old hairless heads time and time again distorting all your stats where it's at it was almost always there the jury and the clowns tread water evenly does it puzzle and astound you however frequently? do you see? it was almost always there
9.
within the august structure while girl on a bench in the park with the feel planes are painting in the sky stepping out, hide, open up or conceal putting it all down into where it belongs most of it all will slip though soon later on spambots will like your songs through meshes of the afternoon you're old enough to be glad when you're wrong rain bubbles form and burst at your feet you will always amble along up to a golden margarite putting it all into where it belongs most of it all will slip though soon later on spambots will write your songs through meshes of the afternoon
10.

about

Digging through the archives during corona. The recordings are roughly from anywhere in the span of the last eleven years. They are not "finished". But then again what is?

"Floral Tie" is a psychedelic daydream, a fantasy about a thing so beautiful even words of the more ornate and flowery variety (and my rudimentary drumming skills) can barely grasp it. I put a field recording of someone playing french horn in a concrete staircase in front of it. "From Afar A Faucet" is partially homonymous with the name of actress Farrah Fawcett but the similarities end there. Unless Farrah grew up near a railroad line, which, of course, is not unthinkable. It was initially supposed to open a concept album called "Tense Past" which might take shape sometime in the future. "Pink Turtle On Purple Grass" is about being a tourist amidst other tourists in a mediterranean bay and probably about something else. "Banana Moon" is both corny and romantic. I call this peculiar flavour "cromantic". Crickets are chirping throughout. "The Pelican Grief" was previously released in a more stripped down version; it is still a torch song. "Naked Man" is based on a true story, i.e. me watching the titular character in a blue storey on an island, snacking, softly swaying. The line "some you see and some you won't" refers to both stars and people. In the end it unravels like something loosely knit. I like "Frugal Days To End" both structurally and lyrically. It was released by both FLÏRT and Sad Flags already, this time i put in a snippet of an organ drone from John Cage's "As Slow As Possible", recorded in Halberstadt. Thrice is a charm as they say (they don't). Speaking of don't: I don't remember recording "Almost Always" but I guess I wanted it to sound like rain which it kind of does. Already semi-sucessful in my book. Moving on: "Meshes Of The Afternoon" was released before as well, this time it comes without drums. The title is nicked from the beautiful surreal 1943 short film by Maya Deren. "Stop Quoting Albert" was recorded on four-track-tape by Henning K, who also played bass guitar on it. It is a song about calendar motto quotes and Albert (Einstein) is a placeholder name. It could have been Gandhi, Dylan or Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu (though not as catchy, also she was evil) just as well. I don't remember recording "An Island Full Of Fun" but I like it somewhat since it features my old 12-String acoustic guitar straight into laptop microphone, my M.O. in the early days. Definitely has a manic quality. "I Have Moved To The Margins" is a variation on the opening riff of "The Pelican Grief" from the point of view of a phantom.
